Review

I hadn't read what this book was about prior to choosing it at the library. 'Best Friends Forever' sounded pretty self-explanatory to me. The beginning of the book was kind of sad and depressing. I thought this book was going to be a 'lighter' read. It turned out to be an insight to Addie's life with her family and her best friend Valerie. There was also an added twist with a possible hit and run involving Addie & Valerie's classmate Dan Swansea. The other side story involved Jordan, chief of police and the issues he had with his life.
I would've given this book 2 stars, but I added a start because there were a few surprises at the end of the book.
This was the first book I have read by Jennifer Weiner and I wasn't overly in love with the story, but I will give her books another try.
